My family loves the butterfly pavilion. Amazing to see them freely fly about.
Ive been to the insectarium twice, The first time it was during the week and right after a large school group was there. The first time we roamed around and didn't really see any staff. We enjoyed it but i was looking for interaction with the insects and maybe some education. The second visit we went on Sunday was great! There was a girl in the butterfly area who was very knowledgeable. I totally love this place!!! Went there today to check out the Butterfly Pavilion so we can have our Wedding reception there!! So many varieties of butterflies, various insects, and arachnids!!! This place is amazing and worth the visit!!!
We loved our visit today! The exhibits were interesting and the staff really went above and beyond to involve my kids. They were able to hold multiple insects and even a butterfly. Highly recommend!
This is one of the coolest places in Philly. Check it out. The people are so nice and knowledgeable.
First time going.. Smaller then i thought.. Less staff present that i thought.. Less traffic which was nice.. Butterflies are beautiful.. Wish there was more staff interaction in there.. Got to 2nd floor where the slide is.. that was neat but no staff to ask questions.. :( got to third floor several staff but no interaction then finally a worker came out and i asked her 1 question and then that turned into a good 20 minutes of education.. We had such a wonderful time! Everyone was very knowledgeable about the butterflies, insects, and arachnids! My only concern was that there was some missing price tags on some of the gifts and none of the employees on shift had any idea how much the items cost. So we saved money and had a great time!
This place is so awesome. Definitely recommend this place for fun and educational purposes.
