The butterfly pavilion was so nice. Wish there were more butterflies. The rest of the museum could use some work.
Tell your kids to beware when leaving lunches in the classroom. Someone there switched out a $20 for a $1 in my sons lunch. Manager states they aren’t responsible for theft and indirectly accused the camp counselors. Good to know they aren’t concerned about their employees.
Went here today on an impulse with a good friend of mine. The new management is really turning this place around. The butterfly pavilion is impressive, the staff is knowledgeable, the cafe is incredible and everything is fresh. You can really get a sense for how passionate everyone is about what they are doing. Everyone was just so friendly and accommodating. I’m very happy I had this experience today.
Great place if you like butterflies and insects! The staff members are great! Great for small children or a school outing!

This is such a cool place, a real hidden gem in Philly. The staff is really knowledgeable and friendly. I hosted a birthday party for my daughter there and had a really great time.
My 3yo daughter and I greatly enjoyed our visit. I felt just as excited as she did. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. And thank you to the lady who worked the spiders and lizards. My girly wants a lizard now ����
Our children visited this hidden gem this summer while our family was in Philadelphia for a medical appointment. They went way out of their way to spend a lot of time with our son who loves insects. It was an affordable and terrific visit, enhanced by the knowledgeable staff!
