With new management for two years, the place definitely needs some work. However, overall, I was happy to bring my daughter after learning about insects. Looking forward to the honeybee return and loved the butterfly pavilion.
A real Hidden GEM in Philly:) I really enjoyed myself and so did my daughter and I'm sure the rest of the kiddos from over the rainbow day care ! We got to see everything from the tarantulas Scorpion's all kind of insects frogs and reptiles to the beautiful and elegant butterflies! The staff was really awesome, friendly, and very knowledgeable too. My sister heard about this museum and suggested my boyfriend and I join her and her husband. No regrets! Helpful, friendly, informative staff. Clean and full of great specimens. We especially liked the Butterfly Pavilion. There were several varieties and chrysalis to see up close.
