Fun way to spend a rainy afternoon, good for both adults and kids. Interesting collection of insects and reptiles from around the world. The staff are great, very knowledgeable and you can tell they do this because they really love what they do. The butterfly pavilion is magical!
Definitely worth the trip. Very awesome experience for myself and my daughter. We started in the butterfly pavilion and worked our way up to the insectarium. There was one guy in particular that was very knowledgeable and great at explaining things to not only the kids but myself and the other parents. He let us pet alot of the animals including Rosie, a 16 or 17 year old female tarantula, that was as gentle as could be. This is a great place. The butterfly room is wonderful. It's a great place for families.
Awesome as a day trip for the kids, the staff was friendly and informative
The Insectarium and Butterfly Pavilion was awesome. My husband and I brought my 7 year old daughter and her friend to check out the place and it was absolutely fun for all ages and very informative. The staff was super friendly and took the time to answer all the questions the kids and my husband could think of. We could have spent all day hanging out with the butterflies in the pavilion. We will definitely be back and highly recommend checking this place out for yourself.
