I've had only positive results in the outpatient depth, but read this on a friend's page today. How about a little oversight in the ER? OMG! Almost 9 hours in the Edmonds Swedish ER on Tuesday/Wednesday. 3+ hours to see first ER doc for a few minutes and she ordered tests. Which was good because I needed them. But then from 10 to 3 AM there was no doctor, no medications, and no IV fluids at all for the night. I didn't see the second ER doc for 5 hours! I asked him a question and he left mid-sentence. So I had to go get some tests and labs done before my back surgery in a week and a half and I NEVER,EVER had such amazing friendly service in a medical center than I had today. From the information person, Registration (lab and EKG) and lab techs. They were all absolutely amazing. I can tell they must really enjoy people and their job. So refreshing to see. Well it was a rough night but this guys made us calm and now i cant stop thanking God !!!!! And their building is so clean , i love it !!
I came in with an already diagnosed kidney stone. Ryan was my nurse, and was really amazing! They were quick even though the whole hospital was busy,even called my urologist. I can't thank the whole staff enough for listening to me, helping me, being friendly, and getting me the care I needed when I needed it. They were all amazing! It was my first visit there, and first surgery. I highly recommend them to anyone. Thank you swedish staff!
Emergency room may be new, but it is slower than molasses. They call about one person in every 15 to 20 minutes. I think it would have been faster to go to any emergency room but this one, including any hospital in Portland, which is a 3 plus hour drive. I'm very disappointed.
