Swedish leadership is greedy. Instead of figuring out solutions for their staff they are closing facilities including a NICU and displacing even the tiniest and most vulnerable patients... all at the cost of others. It’s quite convenient that they want to transfer people to First Hill and then bill for the expensive transfer and services. 🤔

Unfortunately Swedish is choosing to engage in bullying and put corporation profit above following labor laws and valuing their workers. I support the workers. I used to go to Swedish for primary care but no more. I go to UW now. I will be standing with the striking healthcare workers to support safe and fair working conditions. I have family members who used to work there and since Swedish became for profit, they are anti worker. Shame on Swedish!!!

Is this the way to treat your nurses? You think a bunch of temps can give great care?? Think again. Penny smart and pound foolish that’s what you have always been in how you treat your nurses. Wise up!

I want to thank Swedish Edmonds Hospital for such great people who took such great care of me... especially since I drove myself in. All of the staff was wonderful, they listened, they were on top of things, and I felt in a great environment knowing I would get better. I knew that I was in a life threatening situation with what I had, and I was grateful that it was all thoroughly and promptly taken care of... wonderful Doc's! Nurses of all kinds! and kind people behind computers, including hearing the whistling of the Hunger... read more
