We are currently having issues with Dr. Shaikh in the palliative care group. We have insisted that we would like to keep our loved one Gabriela Gladwell on the ventilator (she has a small chance for some form of recovery), since her heart, and brain are 100% and her lungs are still pushing through. I had a terrible experience at the Mill Creek location. Reported the nurse to the charge nurse who then removed him from my room. Still shocked by the amount of disrespect, & rudeness during a already difficult time for me. He brushed off my problems, and when I stated the walk-in turned me away & the pharmacist recommended the ER due to the medications i was on for my condition & the dose. the nurses response was “A pharmacist isn’t a Dr.” While rolling his eyes. I literally had a nurse tell me they are here to treat physical pain not emotional pain. Are you kidding me?!?! Since when is the brain and nervous system NOT part of the human body! This place is a joke.
