He is so professional, compassionate, knowledgeable yet very humble. He listens to your concerns rather than brushing you off. He’s also very very honest. Dr. Hughes is definitely the best orthopedic surgeon I’ve ever met.
Dr. Hughes is an excellent surgeon and his team provides thorough and top level care. He discussed my back/spine problem in understandable terms and provided realistic assessment of my options. The surgery was a complete success.

Although I have not seen many orthopedic surgeons, Dr. Hughes struck me as a very professional and knowledgeable surgeon. He quickly diagnosed my symptoms and gave very informative and helpful feedback on what needed to be done. I understand that the wait times could be extended, but I think you have to take into account the number of patients he sees and the attention he gives to each patient. In my opinion, he is well worth the wait. I highly recommend Dr. Hughes and his staff.
Dr. Hughes was very thorough with the tests he ordered and predicted correctly what the issue was. On a second visit, following tests, he confirmed the diagnosis and gave me a shot that was painless and also relieved my symptoms. Spent a good Amount of time with me, very friendly and concerned.

Same experience with other reviewers. Waiting for more than 90 mins to see him only talked less than 5mins. Very unprofessional. Not recommended.
I have been a patient of Dr. Hughes since 2006 and he has successfully helped me through 2 surgeries on my spine. I have recommended colleagues and family to him and trust him completely with all my orthopedic needs!
Dr. Hughes is incredible. He explained everything that was going on with a badly herniated disk in my spine in a way I could understand. He used minimally invasive surgical techniques to resolve the issue and I was able to go home the same day. I would highly recommend.
