Interaction with doctor was informative and cordial. Felt a bit rushed
Excellent
Undesirable experience with spine surgery
My first appointment with Dr. Hughes was at 9:30 - didn't see him until 10:20. For my 2nd appointment I was called the day before by their office; they canceled it because the file notes said I was "supposed to meet with his PA and not Dr. Hughes." I mentioned that I suffered a triple fracture in my neck in April and have numbness in my arm and feel more comfortable meeting with the actual doctor. I was told that his schedule is busy and I needed to see the PA.
Dr. Hughes is a wonderful doctor. Yes he can be quick in the visits but he also can look at a MRI and give you the best advice in about 5 minutes. He kept me out of surgery for 4 years by doing PT and pain management until one day I completely slipped my disc due to a fall. Given it was an emergency I was not able to have him do the surgery. I am now having to Fuse the area and returned to Dr. Hughes to do the surgery. I had not seen him in 4 years, and he remembered me like it was yesterday!
He is very experienced & knowledgeable doctor.
Wonderful doctor. Took the time to multiple potential remedies. Currently focusing on remedy that doesn’t involve surgery and going well so far. Thank you Dr. Hughes
I met with him, he suggested surgery, and we even set a date for surgery. A week later his assistant called me and home and said he decided not to do the surgery. It took me 3 months to get into surgery with another doctor. While waiting I developed drop foot and suffered irreversible damage. I will now live the rest in severe, intractable, burning pain. I was treated horribly by him and don't believe the glowing= fake reviews left by his office staff.
He is the greatest. Patients have an obligation to ask physicians questions; try to be as concise as possible and do as physicians suggest, He is compassionate, honest, and straight forward. I trust him 100%. He is an A+++ physician.
