Everything says open 24 hours, we were turned away at 10pm but offered carry out. No hour signs on the windows either.
Walked in around 7pm on a Thursday night. Never been to a Steak N Shake. Restaurant empty. Literally 2 other tables occupied, with 2 people each, finishing their meals. Dirty plates in dish pans sitting on tables. Trash cans overflowing. Waited about 7 minutes to have someone take my drink order. No one came. Walked out. Nobody said anything or asked me to stay. The food was good the inside was clean and the service was great I will be going back there.
You have to wonder how the service actually gets worse from where it started. Empty restaurant, waited ten minutes to be seated, then sat another fifteen before getting up and leaving.
Food order wrong after countless times going over it. Food was cold. I wish I could post the picture of my daughters mac and cheese that looked like some cheap store bought mac I could have made faster and better. Never going back. Sucks because I really hate giving out bad reviews, but I was really disappointed. :/
Burger is good and the Parmesan fries is delicious!!
