I really love the Steak ‘n Shake franchise but today we had the worst burger. The cheese fries were amazing but the burgers were hideous. Both our burgers lacked flavor, were cold and very small patties. They were so over staffed that it made them more flustered then when they are short handed. Very sad.

Nasty restrooms equal nasty food and nasty service which is exactly what I received. Food was not up to standard and was un enjoyable.
ZERO STARS I was there with my friend the other night, Seth, the “waiter” was such a lazy excuse for customer service. He gave us only one cup of our drink and never asked for refills. Then the girl who brought out our food was nice to us, but the lack of training and poooooor customer service is very obvious. The only problem that I had was if you sick don't come in a restaurant harking and coughing now I don't feel good.
I've eaten at this place several times and have NEVER had a good experience. The waitress' are slow and young and have never got my order right which just now has happened again. I went to the drive through ( Big mistake) and I waited 20 minutes for 1 double garlic burger and fry's. My order ended up being some double burger w/cheese and some shit sauce on it. My fry's were cold. Five cars waiting behind me. Shit people, it's just a burger and fry's. What a dump !! Stupid stupid people work there. Always have.
Best deal around! Burger and fries for only $4.00 AND they have happy hour pricing on drinks, including shakes! I highly recommend the garlic burger with the parmesan fries and their patty melt is pretty good too.
