The food was fine but the service sucked.
I normally have really good service here but today was horrible me my husband and 2 other people came in about 7:00 they was not very busy we got seated right away and then wait more then 10 minutes no one ever came over to take our drink order or food order I saw several employees in the back just talking and after we decided to not wait anymore and left there was 2 employees outside smoking we used to love steak n shake but not sure we will be back after tonight.

A little slow but the place was packed. Burger was good but looked nothing like the pic. Loved our server he was so polite.
Our server, Courtney I believe, was the absolute best. We were immediately greeted, seated and drink order taken and delivered within three minutes! Served the food quickly and engaged my daughter in small talk about her tattoo. You have a treasure in that particular server, kudos.
We received awesome customer service tonight!!!!!!
My special needs brother, David, picked Steak'n Shake in Opelika, AL for his birthday. We had double original birgers, fries, and cokes....delicious. David picked the Oreo Mint shake...awesome. Wait staff was great...they even came over and sang Happy Birthday to him.....made his day....THANK YOU.
Services was super slow, waited 1 hour 10 minutes for sliders and a club sandwich.
