Beautiful Apartment and wonderful concierge! Beautiful apartment building, I have loved living here. Mandy and Brittany at the concierge are great and so kind. They love dogs and are always eager to make sure the residents are having a great time. Would recommend!
Awesome Experience! One of the nicest apartment buildings and apartments I have spent time in. Very modern and great technology all around. A liberal game room with many great quality, entertaining games such as billiards, fooseball, etc. Nobody bothered us in the game room even though we were playing till late on a Sunday night and noisey at times too. Oh the noise! The location is great. But downhill from there. A large portion of of the building is taken by churchhill and WISH interns. So it has a dorm or hotel vibe much more than residential. Washington City Paper did a spot on article in reference to it being such an unusual mix for a building. The undergraduates party hard making making it unpleasant for residents. Doors slamming at all hours and parties into the morning. Management doing a huge disservice to residents whom pay such a hefty sum.
Frat House If you care about the amenities, don’t. They are filled with frat like parties and everything get broken. This is particular to the summer crowd that interns on the hill that station house rents exclusively to. All rooms with windows accumulate excessive moisture and they will feed you crap about the builders trying to fix them, but nothing ever happens. Walls are fairly thin and if someone had a pet, be prepared to smell urine all day.
Best Rental Apt I moved so many places and this is the best. The apt itself is very eco-friendly and well-built. Visit other rental buildings and simply compare materials and finishes. High aesthetic quality. I love the small of wood in my apt. It has the every amenity you need and well-maintained. Location. Just perfect.
Don't live here, it sucks Why you don't want to live here. 1. Parking is ridiculously expensive. And you can't do the permit street parking. 2. Air conditioning doesn't work in my bedroom and maintenance seem unwilling to fit it. The building also had its air conditioning shut down for over a day and they didn't even apologize to residents. 3. Amenities are not well maintained. Pool table, ping pong, etc... are all damaged. Station House This is the perfect place if you only want the glamor people associate with city living and none of the drawbacks. The building has every amenity you could want and several amenities no other place in DC offers i.e. spin studio, yoga studio, professional teaching kitchen, herb garden. 1 block away from an eclectic coffee shop and local grocer. 2 blocks from H street restaurants. 3 blocks from metro via underground walkway. 4 blocks from the capital, which is a wonderful route to run in the morning. 5 blocks fro... read more
Station House Excellent amenities, customer service and location! Only negative is lack of closet space.
Shiny and New First of all, the leasing staff at Station House is incredible. They went above and beyond to find us the unit that fit our needs! Station House is a little escape in the middle of DC. There is plenty of dedicated outdoor space, and the roof/pool area is the perfect relaxation space. However, my favorite part may be the gym- every piece of equipment you could ever need or want, plus separate yoga and spin studios. Our unit itself is perfect too.
