Due to major back problems, my husband and I recently made the decision to replace our bed. Sounds simple, right? Wrong!!! My husband has done business with Standard for all his appliance needs in the past, so we decide to begin there... We pick out our new bed and have it delivered in a few days. Moses and Luke installed our washer and dryer. They are from the 82nd Ave store. They did an excellent job. They were knowledgeable, quick, and rechecked all the hoses and vents, and tested the machines. I would recommend them. Joe at the store was our salesperson. He presented several options with no pressure. My parents always bought their appliances at Standard TV for over 60 years !

Really appreciate Jason Gattman's assistance with picking a replacement for my broken dishwasher. He was extremely patient - I never felt that he was out to "sell me something." I had a number of questions and he answered them all. He also listened to me when I explained what I would need out of the appliance. When I wondered out loud about how the machine I bought would be rated by Consumer Reviews, he pulled up their review for me. Thank you Jason.

So let me make everyone aware... If you are expecting service from Standard TV & Appliance you will be sadly disappointed! We reported a need for a service call in August for our washing machine. The first call basically amounted to a cleaning and a need to order a part. When the part finally came in almost 2 weeks later, they called to schedule another service call to come out and install it. Imagine my surprise when I was their first available appointment was 2 weeks later - I asked did you not know the part was due in?? B... read more

I recently purchased a stove from the 82nd Ave. location, and the transaction went smoothly (big thanks to Jason Gattman). When the stove was delivered, I asked about having an under-the-counter refrigerator repaired. The installer (who was awesome) told me to call and get the details. I was told to bring it in and for a $40 diagnostic fee, they would be happy to help. I'm writing this to highly recommend Jason Gattman. My husband and I went to Standard TV & Appliance to look at televisions. Jason was very knowledgeable and assisted us with our needs. We ended up buying a television, as well as other miscellaneous equipment. We are not "techies" in any way, and Jason helped us understand how the equipment will work. Jason was very patient, extremely polite, and made us feel very satisfied that we made the correct choice.
