thank you thank you – i would like to thank jeff weber for all his effort and donation for the car show we went to this past weekend at the new copper penny. the ducks tickets were fun to bid on we didnt win the bid but it was a good thing for them to do. it is always nice to see good people help out . thank you standard tv and appliance your the best . mark f

Extremely bad customer service for warranty issues – Two years ago, our dishwasher died, we bought a replacement from Standard. When the install tech saw a leak into the floor we had to schedule a kitchen remodel. Standard told us that the warranty period started when we opened the carton, so we stored the dishwasher. Meanwhile, I gave this company all my business for my kitchen remodel around $10K. When the contractor opened the carton, he found the dishwasher had a bent plate. Be careful! – Bought a refrigerator that was advertised in Sunday's paper. The fridge is fine, but the delivery came in three hours late and the "FREE DELIVERY" in bold print in the Sunday advert came in at $29. We called to complain and were told that it'd take 7-10 days for the refund to show up on the card we used to purchase it. Be sure to look at the bottom line carefully... obviously an intentional scam on their part.

Worst place ever! – My family has been buying appliances from this company for years, but our experiences in the last 3 years has been awful. We bought a new house and we got all our appliances there. They people who came to install things were horrible and made many mistakes. Standard TV and Appliance never solved the problems and they said that even though they arranged for the work that company did and sent them to our house, they were not responsible for their mistakes and they no longer worked with the company. Good service, prices, people – I just moved to Portland and was in need of a new flatscreen. They seemed to know quite a bit about them. Everyone was nice and prices were right. Unfortunately they were out of the television they had on display. Obviously that means they were doing good enough to sell them, but kind of put me SOL. I bought anopther one.

Worst Service Scheduling Ever – I called in to schedule a service appointment for my dryer on Saturday. The customer service girl said that I would get a call from the driver on the day of the appointment between 8:00am and 8:30am to confirm a time. I thought that was really weird since most places schedule you a 2-4 hour window of when their service people will come. Receptionists/office employees do not respond well to custom – First, I e-mailed Standard TV & Appliances regarding a leaking dishwasher and control panel on a gas range not working. I waited several days and nobody from their service department responded at all. The e-mail I sent was carefully written and I made sure it was addressed to the correct e-mail recipient prior to sending it.
