I went in for having severe diarrhea and abdominal pain. They did blood work and a urine test. Filled me with fluids. Told me my blood work was good sent me home with a Prevacid and Bentyl prescription. I was in so much pain when I left there. I took the medication ..The next day I was still in so much pain nothing changed. Went to Northside Hospital and within 20 minutes they were getting me ready for CAT scan with dye.. I've been waiting to do an Xray and Blood work NPO for over 11/2 hrs.. I called for an appointment you said no need.. First thing they ask did I have an appointment?? Not sure what problem is. But I'm not happy with this process.. There is an apparent problem.. Your Patient Registration keeps calling lab to see what the problem is.. If you didn't already have my co-payment I would leave! Patient food is not bad. Cafeteria sucks big time. Not even open for dinner and when open it's only 2 hours at a time(St Anthony's open 6am-1am) Some of the nurses are good and others very lazy. You push button they come in 5-10 mins. Tell them what you want and they take their time getting back. Asked to be moved up in bed and for a pill. Took 45 mins for that. Also get different stories from different doctors or tell them dr said such and such and they say it's not written here. I'd say tape any dr that comes in since they... read more
Could not have has a better birth experience. Recommend to anyone, especially first time moms looking for compassionate and holistic care.
Their ER is a far cry from a "decent" 21st century caring medical staff. I went there twice in the same day, due to my own ignorance of medicine. They treated me like a an idiot the first visit, and the second visit they might as well have just told me to fuck off at the entrance.
I wouldn't go here unless you want to be mistreated & lied too!
