I went in to have a colonoscopy and when I woke up the nurses and doctors were swearing, talking in nasty ways about how "they like there men" and even saying how they hate there job and how patients suck. I used to love coming here for whatever needed done, I don't think I'll be back for a long, long time.
I have a Masters Degree in Management and Healthcare Administration and a Doctor of Public Health Candidate. I was seen at St. Joseph's ER and subsequently admitted to their observation unit for 2 days. The care I received was exceptional. It is clear that this organization is focused on quality and quality improvement, that patients are the very center of everything they do. I had a Thyroidectomy here on July 21st, 2017, so 2 days ago. My experience was honestly pretty good considering the pain I was and am in from the surgery. I really only have 2 complaints. 1. I live 1 1/2 hours from this hospital. My boyfriend was there with me, and when it came time to go to bed they don't let anyone stay with you over night. I must say I am very impressed with this hospital,this is where I will be coming if I need surgery or get sick.my dad on 7/20 had a carotid endarterectomy done by dr.semel who is great by the way,and everyone from the front desk staff,dr,and nurses were great and very professional and knowledgeable, and props to my dad's anesthesiologist although I was not with him right before his surgery my dad and brother thought he was great.the surgical waiting room was state of the art and very comfy,I really liked seeing on the TV scr... read more
i delievered my son here 4/20/15 and i couldnt be more thankful for the nurses and staff here for taking such good care of both myself and my family. ill be delivering here again later in the year, very comfortable place for maternity for sure.
