Good food, though steak had too much charring and overdone (my bad for not sending it back). Service was bare minimal quality, slow, and inattentive. Seated 7 people at too small of a table (some people could not scoot in, leaving 6-12 gap from table).
This is simply the best Steak House in the USA I've been here over a dozen times with each visit being special This visit Phillip was our waiter - what a great guy - he certainly made our dining experience better I can't wait until my travels take me back to Indy Saint Elmo's will be on my list to visit
Without a doubt one of the best dining experiences I have ever had. The meal was phenomenal, but the service made me want to move to Indianapolis. Our waiter, David, was attentive to our every request and incredibly personable. I seriously cannot express how marvelous the service and food were. Absolutely worth every cent. We can't wait to visit again.
Our waiter Dave gave incredible service. He was very personable and made the experience all the more enjoyable. The steaks were fantastic, great wine selection, and the shrimp cocktail is legen (wait for it) dary. A must if your visiting Indianapolis.
Fabulous food, wine and service. The place was historical and fun time was had by whole family.
It was my Birthday and it's becoming a tradition to eat at St. Elmo's. We split a shrimp cocktail, chopped blt salad, bean soup, a bone in ribeye, loaded potato and creamed corn. All were exceptional. The service was impeccable. What else can I say? We drive to Indy from Louisville just for the occasion. Oh! I forgot about a Birthday cream brûlée to top off a perfect evening!
This is legendary steak house over 100 years old service is superb food is great quite expensive but worth it the only bad thing is that it was so noisy that we could not carry on a con versation
It was the first time for my son and I to visit , We did the 3 course meal on Sunday, The shrimp cocktail was the best that I ever had, The filet with the sides was excellent, The Creme Brulee was a first for me and it was amazing, The whole staff was the best as well...
It's was a great experience! Very glad we went! Steak was amazing.
