Complete lack of compassion for a grieving family. After being told the dying patients young boys would be able to come and say goodbye (per your own palliative care team) to their dad, less than 24 hrs before they were supposed to come suddenly everything changed and they were not allowed to visit. I also find it rude and unprofessional for the charge nurse to make comments about how she thought it would be too hard on the boys to visit.
