My wife had her first cataract surgery performed by Dr. Kilby on Aug. 1. She received excellent service, and all the staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. Thank you all.
Had the best experience ever. Never had to go to ER before. I walked into the waiting room and a nurse met me in lobby and asked if I need help and as I was doubled over in pain and walked be back to a room. He went and got a Doctor Hecht. The nurses name was Bryan and he was amazing! My wife also said she had had him as well as my sister in law and they said the same thing. And treated them awesome!
St. Mary's is a lot better than Mercy System. The ER is real. Great staff that watch over you.
The doctors and clinical staff are okay in my experiences. However, they participate in malicious billing practices, they engage in price gauging if you have their insurance, they will lie about what is covered in your insurance. There is zero transparency in their billing department, and rather than working with you, they will threaten you with lawsuits. The doctors are fine, but not worth the billing headache. Avoid at all cost.
Honestly I feel like they lost compassion when they got bigger.
