These guys are freaking' crazy. I ordered a headset and kneeboard and a copy of the FAR AIM from them. Now, I live near Columbus so they're only 2 hours away, but shipping was LIGHTNING quick, but I had an issue with FedEx and had to track down the truck to get my package. Because of this, even though it was not Sporty's fault, they sent me, and I'm not joking, a $50 GIFT CARD. You want to talk about service and quality, these guys are top of the ranks. Just received my personalized flight bag from sportys and absolutely love it!
Paid $50 extra for shipping to get 2 expensive Pilot Kits for my kids by XMas. Now today, XMas Eve, I see that they won't arrive until after XMas. I received no notification from Sporty's or from FedEx the gifts were going to be delayed and of course, it's Sunday and no one is available to help at either Sporty's or FedEx. Very frustrated.
I have received excellent customer service from Sporty's Pilot Shop!!! I recently had a quality issue with with the flight bag that i purchased for my son. I bought it to the attention of Hal (the owner) and 48 hours later, i received a brand new replacement bag. I will definitely be a repeat customer. Thanks Hal and the Sporty's staff
Terrible customer service I bought next day delivery and my order didn't even ship until 2 weeks later when their website said it was in stock it apparently wasn't. Also when it did get in stock it didnt ship for another 3 days until I had to call to figure out what the heck was going on. Needless to say that was my and my students last order with sportys ever I'll go straight to manufacture next time.

Although I am not a licensed pilot, I have had an interest in flight ever since I was a kid. It seems that money was always the factor that kept me away. Now, at this time in my life, I still have an interest in flight and with the advent of the drone industry I now have an avenue down which I can go that makes flight accessible. I have signed up for a drone training course through Sporty's that I plan to begin soon and that will help teach me some of the basics that I need for success.
