Sporty's always seems to have in stock heaps of additional pilot stuff not normally carried by Aus aviation shops. Shipping is fast and very effective. However the cost of shipping and of the product itself ($US) can make the product considerably expensive. If it is really needed however, after unsuccessfully searching all locals pilot stores, Sporty's costs are acceptable.
Purchased a Stratus 2 unit that worked for about 6 months. Poor service after a pricey investment gone bad, mailed the unit in on my dime for "a few weeks" turn around. I expected more from this company than unprofessional resignation for their product.
At first, i was disappointed but now i believe Sporty's got the best services and stuffs for students like me. The wrong things are now undone, and i even get an apologize by letter. I really, really love that ! The customer's voice has been heard. Thank you, Sporty's.
Three days later and my "two day shipping" package is still hundreds of miles away.
One stop-everything you need! Love Sporty's! Highly recommended :)
Since day 1 of my flight training I have never purchased anything for my lessons other than at Sportys! I bought private and IFR DVD lessons package, bag, IFR device etc..the best place for pilots
