Estee in guest services was excellent .Had an issue with the room and was moved to the Oceanside thanks love it.
I have stayed twice and both experiences have been pleasant. The wifi and valet not so much though. There is definitely room for improvement. We are going back the weekend of June 10th, really looking forward to it.
The Diplomat is not only beautiful but the staff at the front desk (check in) went above and beyond trying to accommodate me and my elderly Mother. Thank you Pamela and Phyllisina. Every person from that first contact to the maid put every effort into making us feel welcome and special. We will definitely be back Terry G.
Diplomat was our back up plan after two cancelled cruises. We tried to sail in April for our anniversary and then again in May. We definitely made the right choice staying at Diplomat! Pros: Beautiful property inside and out, amazing pool both day and night, friendly and helpful staff from the lobby to the beach, clean rooms, amazing balcony views(loved waking up to the sunrise each morning and sleeping to the sound of the ocean at night!) Room was nice the staff sucks... between being ignored at the bar outside or being charged for stuff they accidentally done.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion based on their experiences, however I feel for the people that had to take to social media to vent their issues regarding the hotel. We rented 3 rooms and a poolside cabana and the staff was very attentive and friendly. Every interaction with the staff was kind and friendly. It was very common for us to get a "hello" and "how is your day going?" from every interaction. From Frederick in the elevator to the housekeeping service on the 11th floor. This is r 3rd time coming here we've had great experience and safe for kids. Beautiful pools and ocean.
I was lucky enough to stay here for an industry conference and it was a wonderful experience. I had a gorgeous ocean front room that also overlooked the AMAZING pools. I cannot wait to bring my children back. First class hotel, gorgeous lobby and grounds and the most accomadating and helpful staff you could hope for. I came to hollywood to a Corporate meeting and using my Corporate Discount decided to get the best from Hollywood Florida so they say. I was so disappointed to pay so much for a room with ocean front and get a room with a sealed balcony really...When I went to the lobby the clerk told me that she sorry that they are under renovations. I told her why in the reservation it didnt say that. Her response is that she sorry but she don't know why they don't let the guess know.
