I came in 2 days ago for a convention with my husband. I have not had one problem here. Food at the pool bar was great and the service everywhere was wonderful and friendly. Will be back!
I had a wonderful time on my weekend get away. We will be back.

I grew up coming to Hollywood beach... I watched the Diplomat being built... and hoped to one day stay here. I was disappointed... nothing like I imagined. As others have reported, hotel needs an overhaul! Rooms are dated and the doors that you can open and close for privacy from the bedroom into the bathroom are off the rails, I called and asked for someone to come and fix it but no one ever did, do you just not care? Will be nice once construction is complete. But currently Under construction. Yesterday woke to constant noise outside my balcony. Now have hammering and saw going on right above me. So headed to the beach but oh you have to pay for a chair. Lol
Our balcony window has a huge blue tape and it's closed. The bed was poorly done, they didn't refill or change bathroom supplies, water glasses or wattle bottles. The hour pool are insufficient. I think it doesn't worth it.
I absolutely loved this resort! Service was great, I had an ocean view room that was fantastic! Nothing like going to sleep to the sound of waves and an amazing breeze then waking up to the sunrise right outside the balcony!!! I will definitely be back!!! Thank you diplomat!!!
The staff is 5 star!! It would have been nice to have been told that the pool and bar were closing early today because of a private party. But other than that it has been wonderful.
