Stayed in Austin at the JW this weekend for The Tour Of Texas Warm Up. My family and I were highly impressed with ALL aspects of this hotel! We will recommend your hotel to anyone who is looking for the best place to stay in Austin!!!
Just attended a conference on Customer Experience at this property and boy did this team deliver. Across the board. But my favorite story was from the Osterio Pronto Italian restaurant staff. I was having snacks with my gluten free client and Osterio didn't have gluten free bread or crackers. Hard to enjoy a cheese plate without. Well - the server and her boss chose to surprise and delight us! The manager left the property and bought a box of gluten free crackers for us and served them to us. It's a nice hotel in a great location but it's incredibly expensive. The rooms don't have a fridge and the ice is only on one floor so you really have to travel to get it or call the front desk to have someone bring it to you and then feel obligated to tip them. Thankfully I'm a Marriott rewards member because if you aren't it's $14.95 per day for Wifi and if you don't have Wifi, you can't get a signal from your room. Great service. Very polite. Very professional. I had a beautiful room with a king size bed with a great view.
Very nice hotel to stay as a guest and to jold conferences. Great bars and restaurants too. Hve thoroughly enjoyed my stay, having spent three nights here for the NICHE 2017 conference. All the lobby and housekeepinng staff are great. The JW Marriott is definitely a cut above.
I loved it. Very clean, everyone we encountered that worked there was so pleasant. The rooms were nice and lg.
