Overpriced but nice. Hilton staff could learn a lot from the Ritz Carlton staff. The staff was pleasant but by no means would they go out of their way to provide service. We went to the “free” continental breakfast at 10:35, and with half the seats empty we were informed it would be 30 minutes to be seated. This hotel is beautiful and a special place!
The Del has been our spot for 15 years. We went into the famous breakfast buffet yesterday and it was the worst breakfast I have ever had. Denny’s would have put them to shame. They obviously do not have a head chief anymore. They even took out the Omelet station and you order like a regular cheap restaurant. Super 5 star blast from the past in a fantastic location - bit busy but worth a visit. Wished we had known it was part of the Hilton Curio collection or we might have spent our 7 nights there.....
One of my favorite places to be! Nothing better than the beach, people watching and being pampered by the hotel staff. Everyone is friendly and upbeat and we love it here! This is our second time at “the Del” and we hope to continue our new tradition!
