We had a wonderful vacation visiting the Del. It was not our first time and it will not be our last. We stayed in a suite in the older Victorian Building, and sure it could use some updates especially in the bathrooms. However, it is over 100 years old and like staying in a piece of history. Not sure why all the complaints! The food has been amazing, the cocktails delicious and the grounds are immaculately kept. We didn’t stay here, but we did the historical tour with Gina and it was absolutely amazing! You HAVE to do the tour if you come here, I swear it is worth it. Not only is the guide clearly in love with her job, she does an incredible job telling the history and story of the Hotel Del Coronado. Anyone who appreciates history, architecture, interior design, craftsmanship, etc should take this historical tour!!!!!
