This is our 6th time here so no surprise then to hear that it’s a fantastic, albeit pricey, hotel. Having said that I’ve never understood the $26/day resort fee when you’re paying a premium price in the first place!! Also some of the mark up prices are ridiculous, e.g. a bottle of ‘Fiji’ water (basically WATER) is $7/£5.32, a fairly modest breakfast for 2 can cost upwards from $60/£45. What a great experience we had at the Del. Beautiful room with a gorgeous view! There are lots of things to do and places to go within walking distance. Whether you go to the saltwater pool or the beach, the day is so relaxing and wonderful. The people are so nice and helpful. We loved every minute!
Hotel del Coranado is a lovely place to walk through. Great place to sit people watch
Hotel Del and the Island of Coronado is my happy place. I live on the other side of the bridge. A short drive to a great place to go walk, play, swim, and eat. Very dog friendly too.
Class. All the way. The history, the beauty; it’s an unforgettable experience.
The beautiful del never disappoints! The sand looks like it is covered in gold dust... magical! The pool bar beverages are delightful! The entire atmosphere is pure bliss. Don't miss out on taking the elevator... a man actually runs it. Love the step back in time to a glamorous world by the beach! (Note: outdoor ice cream shoppe is also fabulous!)
