The beach and location are great. The double queen room was a good size. However, there were cobwebs in the hallway, there was mold in the bathroom, and a leaky faucet in the bathroom as well. The carpet is old , worn, and appears as if it had not been updated in décades. When I mentioned my concerns to the front desk , they simply sent someone with « chemicals » to clean the mold, about an hour before I checked out and just as we were in our morning activities during peak bathroom usage time.
I am so disappointed, I don’t know where to begin. We are currently here celebrating our 32nd anniversary. We used to come here every year for the first 10 years of our marriage. This once upscale resort has devolved into that of a cheap cruise line... and at an outrageously expensive cost. My father was in the hotel business as is currently my son, so I am acutely aware of how it is to be done. We are still on property if you wish to have a constructive conversation. More details later.
Really enjoyed the Sunday brunch! Was able to get a seat out on the patio without reservations. The buffet was excellent with quite a number of choices. The service was superb and we were allowed to stay as long as we wished! Highly recommend this stop if you visit CORONADO!

Went to find a restaurant for breakfast and was near the hotel. Tried the buffet. The waiter was polite, fast and attentive to our needs. The food was very good with lots to chose from. Their eggs benidict was good to. The hotel is beautiful. We stay and enjoyed the beach.

5 stars in every way! My family has been coming here for 13 years. There is no place like the Hotel Del Coronado and we recommend this hotel to every family who is looking for a fabulous place to make memories with their family.
I enjoy this historic hotel. Have stayed here once. Love it. A big expense and experience. Price $$$$$$
