Very underwhelming experience for the price. Beautiful property but that is the only true positive - nothing really wrong but would’ve expected over-the-top experience for the price paid. Almost everything is excessively expensive (hotel tour which should’ve been free is $40/pp - shameful) and hotel could not handle number of people checking in/out so long waits for both.

A big disappointment!!! When the hotel was a private business - it was a historic, interesting, beautiful place with a fine European restaurant and respectful service. Now the hotel belongs to the Hilton, and this place has turned into the most expensive Taco Bell. Del Coronado is dead. Remained the business of the lowest level.
It was great and everyone was very polite and sincere. The food at the restaurant was outstanding. I will be back.

Beautiful hotel with lots of history. Yes, its expensive, but right on the beach. The staff has always gone out of their way to make us feel welcome.
