Gorgeous!
Nice location, main building is beautiful, and the beach was gorgeous. I was not impressed with the housekeeping service. Nothing was cleaned very well. Service at the pool was a let down.

Too many great things to list here about this epic property and its fantastic staff. One frustration? The inexplicable terrible internet connection and cell phone signal when down at the Babcock & Story Bar trying to conduct business or have morning coffee. It's been this way for years. I don't get it. Get Wifi boosters and address the signal strength. The hotel is literally full of business people, large corporate groups, and tourists. This is not a "review" of this property, just a frustration. LOVE the Hotel Del.
We came on the ferry there and enjoyed the 904 free summertime shuttle. Our lunch was great bar fare Chile’s stuffed with chicken.

The first night we spent in the original Hotel overlooking the courtyard which was beautiful, the next 3 nights we spent in an ocean view room room, fabulous. It was a great experience, staff was very accommodating with some allergy issues we encountered, food was pricey but absolutely delicious, the candy and ice cream stores were a real treat, overall a great experience, thank you. I hope she get back one day.
Beautiful hotel with classic design and woodwork. Friendly staff, clean, comfortable, quiet rooms. Mine had a fantastic view of sunset over beach. 1500 Ocean dinner was sublime Mark our waiter was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive but not disruptive. Overall the stay was a pleasure to state in simply.
