We stayed for our 50th wedding anniversary, what a grand hotel it is with beautiful grounds , great beach and nice pools . The problem is it is way over priced , charged us $40 to park our car on top of the over $400 room rate , $113 for a very good but small Pizza dinner , breakfast was over $ 30 each for very Unimpressive buffet, the room was in tower 6 and was just another high rise somewhat dated hotel on the beach . I really can’t stand this hotel. It’s dirty, the bed linens suck, and there are no breakfast menus available at 11:10 on a Sunday morning. It took an hour plus for room service to bring a bottle of wine last night. We fell asleep waiting! Then they charged 50% tax and gratuity on that bottle. Our $50 bottle of wine cost $75. We called the front desk to dispute it and the account is closed and they won’t reverse the gratuity. The best place !
My family stayed at the Hotel Del Coronado for the first time and completely enjoyed our vacation. The hotel environment, the ambience and the service was awesome. We would highly recommend the hotel to our family and family, as well as would return to this fabulous vacation destination when we are back in this part of the country.
Great place to stay
The smell, the darkness, the smell... checked in and right back out.
