My husband and I stayed at the Del recently to celebrate my birthday. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. We were surprised to find we had been upgraded to an ocean view room. We had a great time and look forward to visiting again soon.
Just celebrated our 20th anniversary at the hotel. While some of the restaurant and hotel store staff were a bit rude and there were ants in my room, I still give it 5 stars. Heck even the power went out for an hour. This place is 130 years old on a beach, so stuff can happen. We would still go back again. Thanks to those staff that made it so great.

Our 25+ member party was serviced elegantly by the hotel! Our servers delightful, the food selection outstanding, the accommodations perfect! It was such fun being catered to in this historic property! A must experience for every visitor to San Diego area
Most amazing experience !! We surprised my mom for her 60th birthday with a two night stay here with our entire family. It was the most amazing experience. We never had to leave the property. We roasted marshmallows and order pizza to the beach. We also had a lounge chairs and umbrella set up with us at the beach. Went on long walks on the beach in on the boardwalk.We ate at all the restaurants on property which were excellent. The nice ice cream parlor wa frequently visited on the property .
