What a wonderful and beautiful hotel! Gracious happy staff. I asked for a late checkout and despite being 80% full, gave me st no charge a checkout as late as 4pm! My perception of Marriott hotels has changed to OMG, are you serious?! Well done!
I'am Waymon Harley and President Of Atlanta Boxing Association has chosen the Atlanta Marriott Marquis as it's company boxing events hotel since 2001. It's was our Mike "Iron" Tyson vs Lennox Lewis Atlanta (Heavyweight Championship) planning Headquarters when we were setting up for the One Georgia Dome. The Marriott Marquis Hotel is our boxing family and friends since and always will be even until Atlanta boxing will rise up again. Our 5- Star Prefect Atlanta Hotel.
It's great that you can host an event with 1,300 people but you need to fix the parking. Absolutely no way was I going to park a new Corvette in some random parking lot in downtown. Don't commit to hosting events if you can't handle the amount of parking needed.
