I was there this past week for my sorority regional conference. The hotel itself is beautiful and very clean. Now the but comes in... the banquets that were held there were poorly serviced. The wait staff was very much so overwhelmed. We had a dinner banquet to start at 8 pm and no one ate until almost 9:45. We had no water. No tea. The Marriott Marquis has always been my go to hotel if visiting Atlanta's downtown area. The rooms are nice and clean. The In-house cleaning is always on time.
