RecommendedAlthough Septa does have its issues, I’d like to provide a review pertaining to a wonderful bus driver, Barbara Scott. Barbara (Route 50/Block 1484) is incredibly kind-hearted and always on time! One of the best drivers I have ever interacted with! I hope she is getting the recognition she deserves.
I don't know how y'all are still in business. Only Septa could be late/not show up with a single train (mfl), in the middle of the night during a pandemic with low ridership. Maybe try showing up before you raise fares again? Just a thought.

There are a few good service providers that stand out but SEPTA needs to improve it's service all around. From buses, trollies, and trains that either show up early, late, not at all or ride by without stopping to the actual service providers (drivers/conductors) who want to argue with and mistreat fare paying customers, the service is just POOR. It seems that with each fare increase the service gets worse .

Septa desperately needs to clean up its platforms and cars to create a safer environment for it’s PAYING riders. The platforms are overrun with homeless people and aggressive panhandlers. I see nudity just about every morning as they wash themselves and defecate at the 8th and Market Station. I have seen crack pipes and needles roll across the floor of the cars just about every day as riders lay passed out in the seats. I haven’t seen a transit police member in weeks! The El is dirty. Homeless, druggies, bums all over. It’s a disgrace. Never see any security anymore. Disgrace. I bet 3d world countries have a better and cleaner transportation system. What an embarrassment. Have u been at 15th and Market Sts. lately?!? Frightening.
I have long been concerned about the zero enforcement of mask rules on SEPTA — just now, on the same day the city issues more stringent COVID protocols, I witness someone who looks like he’s an employee EATING right in front of the info kiosk — in full view of the attendant. People are dying and SEPTA refuses to enforce restrictions on even the most basic level. SHAME!
SEPTA was a mess this week start to finish. Trains that never showed up, tickets that inexplicably weren't accepted, customer service that couldn't help with anything. I never thought I'd be an MTA fangirl in comparison, but here we are.

I'm on the route 36 to Eastwick, trolley # 9026 and the operator has totally ignored the social distancing policy. He has allowed so many people on the trolley that people are standing over people, touching because they can't avoid it
Be on time. Be on time. BE ON TIME. pity all the workers who have to take this unreliable bus service.
