I have been with Slomin’s 25 years for securing my home with their alarm and fire detectors. I called to get my 5 year alarm upgrade and the technician came out to install an updated key pad with updated fire alarms. When the technician was finished, he explained the new features to us. He said that we would be able to see the weather on our key pad. The next day, we could not get the weather to be displayed on our keypad. Slomins in **********, NY A very bad customer service including those supervisors who are working there. I had a yearly maintenance scheduled for November, in the evening around 7 before the day of the appointment. Some lady calls in to reschedule the appointment, i twice confirmed the appointment. She was offering 2 months later appointment i refused and requested for a supervisor, 1 day later supervisor calls and saying we apologize the inconvenience and offers me 2.5 months appointment and telling me this is not the end o... read more

The salesperson was good but the services *****. I opened three accounts with the man and was promised auto delivery and prompt service. This is not the case. I ran out of oil and my tenants were freezing. They even complained to the city, I never had a complaint but now I have . I told the company that the oil tank is empty and after about twenty hours a van finally arrived with fifteen gallons of oil. The next day they had to come again to deliver another fifteen gallons , then finally a delivery. At another location I was... read more

Slomin’s 1$ more than other company’s as prices went down They rushed to deliver at higher price and as I’ m trying to cancel my contract with them they have really bad costumer service every time they have a new rule aa I thought my contract was cancel they came to make a delivery charged 2.799 as other company's are charging 1.88 I called now they tell me they will call me back to cancel contract as times are so difficult and people are working less hours or without work Slomin’s continues to over charge there costumer’s

Thank you Mid morning on Christmas Day we discovered our oil burner was leaking. We contacted Slomin’s emergency service. The woman we spoke to expressed her concern, told us to immediately shut off the unit and a technician would be to us soon. My son went to the garage to get drop cloths to put down on our floors leading to the oil burner closet when he went back to the garage to get additional drop cloths the technician was pulling into our driveway. We have a contract with this company. Called since hanging issues with our boiler and no one can't get here till tomorrow. They lied to sign up 24 hours available service and when you need no one showed up. Marie is horrible customer service. Asked to speak to a manager. Not even a courtesy of a call back. Nice called night thanks for the contract and pay to money. Very poor service.

Slomins is always about $1.00 per gallon above everyone else , and they add as many charges as possible for auto delivery. BUT, their equipment service is the best, so if you dont mind paying an extra $1,000 per year for the oil contract, you can save a few hundred every 10 years on oil burner repairs. They are almost as impressive as ****** gas for gouging customers. Be diligent Long Island customers. When they become monopolies , we are all gonna pay

Service yesterday. The same issue today. Not sure how you can get any worse than that. Waiting on the bill for service of a part that did not have an issue. Waiting on the next tech, they say tomorrow. Waiting on my contract to expire to switch companies.

I ran out of home heating oil on a Saturday night and they refused to make an oil delivery until the following Friday. The customer service department was completely unhelpful. The company could not care less.
