I have used this company before and never had a problem. This year I called to have my boiler cleaned and they gave me an appointment for Oct 25th. The week before they sent me 2 emails confirming my appointment. The day before they sent me another email asking me to confirm my appointment for a cleaning on Oct. 25th. I sent it back stating I would be keeping the appointment.I went out and came home to a phone call stating my appointment was canceled and to call the office for a new appointment. The worst. Called to find out if my water heater was covered, that is all I wanted to know. Put. me on hold 3 times, waiting for an answer The first time I called a few months about my burner. It was an emergency, and they gave me a 4 days from than. I called my own friend. They charge you for a Contract but don't have the people to fix it. How do we let oil companies do this. Going back to ****** oil as soon ad my fake Contract is over. What good is customer complaints if they keep getting away with episodes.

ABSOLUTLEY THE WORSE SECURITY SERVICE EVER...UNRELIABLE...CUTOMER SERVICE (MANAGERS ****/****) WERE INDIFFERENT TO THE BREAKIN OF MY GRANDMOTHERS HOME. ******** is the WORST security company ever. I signed a contract with them which included a camera, which was never installed. I called the company three times to inform them of the improper billing, as I was being charged for the camera and its usage. Each time I was told someone would get back to me and my number was taken. I continued to make the introductory payment until the issue was rectified. I went away on vacation years ago with a prescheduled fuel delivery the day I left. I came back 3 weeks later to a near freezing house and no explanation. I called another company for delivery and to restart the furnace. My children at the time were 3 and 5. Never again! Some Slomin' s salesperson got my wife to sign for "information" today on fuel oil. The paper turns out to be a service contract with a 3 day cancellation window and a 400.00 early termination fee after 3 days. I just called them to cancel and it's "not in t... read more

First year with this oil company. They have AWESOME service. Knowledgeable service men. Have had two other oil providers Very happy with the service I receive from Slomin’s!

the company has the worst customer service , definitely will not recommend this home security company. they give you the run around and before you sign they are willing to help but afterwards they nasty and have attitude. Also when the alarm accidently goes off, for example, an agent calls with a nasty attitude and just asks "code word" and doesn't introduce themselves or anything and expects for you to know exactly who they are, and you ask whos this and they get angry and keep asking code word instead of letting you know w... read more

I signed up to take over the former owners contract, which only had 10 months left on it. When I called at the end of the 10 months, they claimed I signed a contract for 5 years. I never signed a contract for 5 years I only signed for the 10 months. My signature was on a separate page on the contract they claimed I signed for the 5 years. They are telling me something completely different from what the sales person told me and had me signed for. I thought I was dealing with a company with integrity. I’ve learned my lesson.

I normally don't post reviews on websites and I see that Slomin's has quite a few negative reviews. We are heating oil customers and we have a service contract with them for our furnace. Yesterday we woke up to a cold house and discovered the furnace wasn't working. I placed a call and a service technician arrived shortly thereafter. He quickly determined that the problem was a faulty electronic panel and the cost to replace it would be $475. Not the happiest news to hear, but better to address it while there still may be so... read more
