I bought a 2017 Escape last week. This is my first new car and the buying experience was great! Salesperson Martin Richardson was great at explaining everything to me. I really love my Escape so far, fun to drive.
I brought my car in for a safety recall (door latch replacement). I dropped it off, they fixed it. I live in the mountains, I mentioned that to the writer and he did his best to get mine done expeditiously b/c It's a fifty mile trip one way for us. Done on time and it was still morning. Not real technical work but done as promised so I'm happy.
I've dealt with Sil-Ter Har Ford for about 35 years and have the utmost confidence in their sales and service departments. Yes, there have been times that a problem can't be fixed in a short amount of time or at all, but this is because of Ford and not the dealership. I have found them to be courteous, helpful and efficient. My Lincoln is an oldie which my sister gave to me when she became disabled and S-T treats me as if my car were one of the new ones. I have nothing but thanks for them.
We have bought a number of new Fords and one new Lincoln at Sill-Terhar. Unfortunately, we bought a new 2013 Ford Focus. The automatic transmission in that model is a defective design. The car is a lemon. We have had it in the shop four times now for the problem, this current time for two weeks. We can't trust the car. Ford is defending a class-action lawsuit over this issue. Just leased a Mazda CX5 from Sill-TerHar and was helped by Paul Farrow. Couldn't be happier with the service I received. He got me a very fair price and was very thorough during the entire process. General manager and finance manager were also great. Overall A+ experience.
