Renovated in June 2007, Silk City is actually two places joined together. The diner was originally built by the Silk City company in the 1930s. If you are familiar with the old Silk City menu, expect changes. The lay out is nice , the bartenders are fast as hell! The bartender made me a Malibu bay breeze in less than 5 seconds I thought it was going to taste like crap but it was the best one I’ve had in a while ! Girl knows her stuff! But don’t go here after 1 am if you’re over 25

Solid 4/5. Service was great and the drinks were strong! Had two “painkillers” and enjoyed the veggie burger very much. Great start to a great night and will definitely be back!

It was a wonderful dining experience! We had a small wait to get in for brunch but it was worth it. The staff was very friendly and outgoing. Our waiter was very informative to all my questions. Very neat eclectic decor. Food was plentiful and delicious. I had the breakfast burrito that was the size of a football and my husband had creme brûlée French toast. Love Philadelphia too! Guy Fierti knows his stuff!!
