Renovated in June 2007, Silk City is actually two places joined together. The diner was originally built by the Silk City company in the 1930s. If you are familiar with the old Silk City menu, expect changes. Lovely diner and lovely staff. Good menu and selection of beer.
Best damn seitan wings ever. Sat at the bar and had good service from the bartender. The hostess left something to be desired - on her phone the whole time, eating miss-fired food behind the bar right in front of us, etc. My bf asked if there was a trash can to throw away the cans of Red Bull we had finished before walking in and she said the bartender would take care of it - and then proceeded to throw a water bottle away inches from where our cans were sitting on the bar. Went for the Sipping For Scleroderma event yesterday, 8-9-17. Great event and great venue! Everything was great!

Very cool joint , easy to find and , they know how to make a cocktail , the staff were friendly and , when we asked if they had cheese fries our waitress said they did and , it was house made ( delish ) will definitely make a return visit :)
Came for late drinks. Neat place liked the layout. Ended up having the bacon wrapped meatloaf that was great. Came with mashed potatoes and peas. Mash potato was awesome and peas were fresh and for a 11pm order it came out quick. Was sad they were out of the bacon cheddar pierogis so will have to try them next time.
Silk City is a very warm an friendly restaurant, the food is grade 100%, and the drinks are tasteful to the pilate after each morsel completing with a warming atmosphere.
Food was decent- but when we got the bill they "up charged" us for all our sides, which the waitress lacked in telling- and also changed for every soda refill, which was also not stated. For 3 chicken sandwiches, a grilled cheese, salad and soda refills, our bill was over $100 plus they added gratuity for 5 people (which was not stated either). Will not be going back.
Food was delicious � service great. Awesome place for a quick bite.
