Renovated in June 2007, Silk City is actually two places joined together. The diner was originally built by the Silk City company in the 1930s. If you are familiar with the old Silk City menu, expect changes. A Classic diner that has a dance club. Bumps all day but especially late into the night! Check in out folks!!!
Pork Belly Empanadas were amazing! The Fried Chicken was unreal especially when I tried the Jalapeño corn muffin that came with the meal, omg!!
I have dined at Silk City Diner on several occasions and always enjoy meals there. This occasion, the annual summertime dinner and show to treat to my god-daughter and spend time together. This year's meal was at Silk City & show was Taylor Swift concert. We enjoyed the fried chicken entree & popcorn shrimp at Silk City. And the service was great!
RecommendedAwesome... that you can grab a bite to eat and enjoy the club like atmosphere without being in the mix. I personally didn’t care for my chicken & waffles; the chicken was fried too hard and I’m not quite sure what piece of the chicken it was, and the gravy was straight nasty. My daughter did however enjoy her shrimp burger, I’ll have to try that next or the suggested sweet potato & pork belly empanada.
Loved the Salisbury steak! My sister had a delicious looking salad, and my brother in law enjoyed his burger. The last time I ate here it was still a diner. Nice upgrade!
Great atmosphere and excellent food
The Food and Service was excellent Sarah was our waitress!! She was phenomenal !! I took my mom there for the 1st time. She loved it!! We will be back!!!
