The leasing office didn't tell me any detail of how the utility is charged before I moved in. So I thought I was charged what I used. However, today I just surprised to know that each resident is billed a fraction of total 10 light resident bill. However, the bill is not shared equally. I don't even know how I am billed and what I am billed for even I have moved here for three months.
I’m a physician in the area and have witness several serious crime events within one block during the year that I’ve lived here including two stabbings and an assault. I was recently robbed at night point right in front of the under armor gym despite video surveillance and perimeter security presence. A few months ago a woman was shot in the face within a block of the premises. Would encourage potentials to review crime reports carefully before moving here.
At least one night per month, you have to leave your apartment for about two hours because of continuous false fire alarms. I don't know what kind of horrible system the property management company has put in place, but this has annoyed me so much that I've had the last straw and I'm moving out. Expect to be woken up unexpectedly at a minimum once per month, and often twice, at 3am to an alarm that is as loud as being in the front row of a monster truck show, without there ever being a fire or even smoke anywhere in or near ... read more
RecommendedI love living at Avant. The neighborhood is quiet and the people are friendly. The floor plans are also quite nice and spacious. Best community I’ve lived in yet!
