I took my four kids to a Marriott location near a Children’s Hospital we have to travel to occasionally for my child. I called to cancel our reservation because I read reviews their swimming pool had been closed for two years. Online it stated they had a pool and hot tub. They told me “no our pool is open”. So their pool had only been back open for about 24-36 hours. It was freezing cold and unbalanced. There was yellow tape around the hot tub. That’s the most minor issue, BY FAR, compared to what we dealt with. But it shows... read more

Confirmation email states one night stay at check out was told they have a two night minimum and would be charged for two nights. Charge per night is $159 but hotel charged $400. No one to help with issue as it was a Saturday, then recieve several rude emails from staff after giving proof of one night reservation.

I have been going back & forth with Marriott for two and a half years about canceling my timeshare that they fraudulently sold to me. They deceived me by telling me I could use this any time and travel wherever I wanted to. When I wanted to take vacations, I quickly realized everything I was told during the presentation was a lie to get me to purchase. I started disputing my ownership a few years after, and here we are. I stayed at Gaylord Texan Resort in Grapevine, TX for a conference. The hotel stay was fine. However at check in, I was required to put a card on file for incidentals and was told it would be released at check out. Since this was an educational conference I attended, the school district I work for was paying for the stay. Upon check out, the hotel applied my incidental hold to cover my room.
