Shaya's menu is a reverential treasure which was crafted with recipes from his grandmother. The chef attempts to blend the indigenous flavors of Israel with a New Orleans twist, and the menu features dishes such as the Louisiana Shrimp Shakshouka and the more traditional matzo ball soup, among others. Perhaps the best dinner I've ever had in my entire life!
Loved eveything we got. The bread and chocolate halva pie is so delicious. And Jessica is great. Thank you.
Absolutely fantastic experience to eat there! I hope to get back there again, sometime soon.
Went there for lunch with my daughter. Waited all of 2 minutes for a table. Food was amazing. Incredible matzo ball soup, with shallots and a wonderful chicken and duck broth. Incredible flavors. Spectacular humus, roasted brussel sprouts and other sides. Daughter loved her falafel. The decor is minimalistic but classy. The service is great. They definitely earned their James Beard award.
REALLY AMAZING! Great food, great experience. I hope back soon and try anothers creations
The best Modern Israelian food we had in New Orleans while visiting. I'm Vegan, so they were very helpful to point out which was and wasn't Vegan. My husband and I both had Local great Craft Beers. Highly recommended!
Delicious Food, great atmosphere and superb service. Our server Ryan made excellent suggestions for our meal. If you're going with a group I would suggest sharing dishes. Humus with lamb was my favorite. I will definitely go back!
Consistently excellent food and service. I have been there for brunch, lunch and dinner. Everything is always fresh and flavorful. The staff is knowlegable and friendly. Everything on the menu is outstanding.
Business response:
