Dr. Bess is the man in Denver. Last year I was seriously injured after being on the receiving end of a high speed MVA and my new vehicles safety features failed. I had numerous torn discs and vertebrate touching my spinal cord. Luckily my neurologist refered me to Dr Bess’ group! Every single medical doctor that I see asserts they would personally see Dr. Bess should they require a neurosurgeon. Not only is he highly competent and well respected but is incredibly kind. You’re in the best hands!
I found the practice at Denver International Spine Center (DISC) to be very professional beginning with setting the appointment, checking me in upon arrival, and answering all my questions. Dr. Bess himself was attentive to my needs, providing a diagnosis and recommended next steps in a way that I fully understood. Overall, a very positive "5-Star" visit.
I have had years of dealing with orthopedic doctors, and he was the first one that listened and had a game plan. He is a great surgeon, and a great listener.
This was my first appointment and was made to feel completely welcome.
Dr. Bess listened to my problem and was very proactive in finding a path for solutions. He waisted no time in scheduling needed tests and scheduling a follow up appointment.
Dr. Bess is my hero. He identified a massive herniated disc when he diagnosed scoliosis. My extensive “S” shaped spine had to be straightened for there to be a good long term outcome. For 2 1/2 month’s the pain had incapacitated me. Dr. Bess was so kind, reassuring and confident as I decided on this scary surgery. Thanks to his incredible skill, I am now pain free while living my life with a straight spine. I give thanks everyday for Dr. Bess and his life-changing surgery. He’s the best!
