This was by far the worst bed side manners I ever experienced with a surgeon. Very rude also wrote things in my chart that was not correct. Gave me a diagnosis that was not the same as the last 2 prior ones said I didn’t have any issues when I can not get out of bed some days and had to go get my images and bring them back just to show him that I had problems most doctors if you pronounce the term wrong will take the time to look at the report to see what your trying to say is wrong with you he told me facet joints does not ... read more

The surgery that Dr Bess did on my brother was great, however the followup care SUCKS. My brother has already had to go through 2 more surgeries, 1 to flush staph infection from his back and another to "replace" the hardware in his back to try to get rid of the staph infection. He then got a serratia infection, and now he wants to do ANOTHER surgery to get rid of that infection also. He has a God like complex where he thinks he can do no wrong when there were other treatments available for BOTH infections

Before i went to see Dr Bess i was told by a doctor i had a serious case of stenosis, was in risk of paralysis and had to cancel an around the world trip. I was devastated. Dr Bess confirmed i needed surgery but it could wait. A year later i had the surgery. My life is hiking, cycling, being active. July of 2019 i went to Dr.bess to fix my L5 S1 he went over all my options and i decided to have surgery. He did a awesome job my back has healed very good. I would totally recommend Dr.Bess to anyone who ask who did my surgery. ??
I appreciate that Dr Bess took the time to answer all my questions without using "scare" tactics. My situation was complex and he went through the what if's with no pressure as to what I should do. I took 2 months to make my decision. I'm now 5 months post op and very pleased with the results. I have referred my sister and a friend to Dr Bess.
They were amazing after we got through the issues with records that couldn't be read they were very helpful and accommodating Thank u
Very awesome doctor was very attentive to my needs and concerns and did a very good job on my neck surgery. The only negative remark I have is when I was discharged from the hospital after surgery the prescription's I was sent home with I couldn't fill and since this was a Saturday I couldn't get a hold of anyone until Monday when everyone was back in office.
Dr. Bess is a very thorough surgeon who takes the time to analyze all the data before determining a course of action. I totally entrust Dr. Bess for my spine care.
Dr Bess is caring and takes seriously your concerns. At a recent visit he listened to my situation and made positive suggestions as to the way forward, wanting to make sure about being fully informed.
