Shavon and Alex were very friendly.. great atmosphere, very relaxing and welcoming and I love my Tattoo. I e-mailed them the tribal tattoo I wanted done and they responded in a timely manner and I got my tattoo done that next week.. Alex did an excellent job and very patient as well.. Alex thank you for lending me the chicken lol
Shavon's Purple Lotus Body Art is the best tattoo studio in the Columbia area. It is amazing how the tattoo artis are able to take any piece of work you want done and make it look just like the picture. I would recommend anyone that is in the Columbia area to stop in one day and see the amazing work they can do.
I am a true lover of body art as well as art in general. It takes a lot to impress me when the two are combined. The Purple Lotus combines the intricate work of custom art then applying the art to the skin. When your body is a precious canvas, the art work has to be perfect. What can I say that hasn't been said in previous reviews. Shavon, I greatly appreciate your caring touch while fixing what seems to be a disaster of a tattoo that was done at what we thought was a reputable parlor. And to think that dolphins weren't supposed to have dots on their heads. You're amazing and a true artist and thank you so much for caring enough to want to save the dolphin. -Cheryl
As a first time body art acquirer, I found Shavon at the Purple Lotus to be absolutely fantastic. She (and the rest of the staff at the boutique) was professional, compassionate, and simply amazing at her art form. I asked for a very small butterfly, expecting to get something looking like a little moth and walked out of the studio with a beautifully detailed, fairy-like butterfly. I couldn't be happier with the results. And, Shavon, my daughter named it Cleopatra she thought it was so exotic. Thank you.

Purple Lotus is by far the best place ever to get your artwork done!! The atmosphere,artwork,and experience was incredible!! Shavon gave me the tattoo i have always dreamed of!
