I went there having kinda a idea what I wanted. Showed it to Shannon and she worked her magic and made something a only a true artist could do. She truely has a gift and she uses it to the fullest extent. Her work is simply amazing.
Shavon is a skilled artist. I walked into her shop with a picture of a family crest and she made it look just like the picture she did not leave a detail out. Not only do she have skills but her and her staff are the most friendly people i have met. They make you feel like part of the family, they make you feel at home. when you walk into her shop it is a warm comforting envirnoment. i went in w/ my own idea of what i wanted done ,and alex and i combined our ideas together to come up w/ a sweat design, prior to going there i had spoke w/ both shavon and richard and they made there bus.. feel like home, which is always a plus for any palor, alex did an overwhelming job on my tat, i still have alot of work tobe done on two other tats ,that both richard and alex said needed to be fixed rest assured nobody in the state sc will touch me but these great people even if alex is a clown,"lol" thks for a great tim... read more
I have to say the Purple Lotus is not just your average tattoo shop, instead it really is a "Body Art Boutique". I walked out of there today with the most beautiful dragonfly on my hip. It really is an amazing work of art that Shavon did for me. I can't wait to show it off! Though it was my fourth, sadly it was only my first from Shavon. My experience at the Purple Lotus awesome. A friend of mine referred me to them after Shavon had started work on a full sleeve that he had wanted. I checked out some of her work on there website, and saw that she had a knack for color. I had started a half sleeve with a sun on my shoulder a few years back, but was not fully pleased with the first artists work. This is not your typical tattoo parlor and Shavon and her staff bend over backwards to make sure of it. The moment you walk in you are treated as a member of the family. My wife and myself were immediately put at ease by Shavon's wit and humor(she had us rolling all night!) and by the end of the night neither of was wanted to leave. 2 WEEKS AGO I WENT TO PURPLE LOTUS WITH MY FRIEND TO GET HER TATTOO DONE...AND THANK GOD I DID BECAUSE SHAVON TOOK ONE LOOK AT THE TATTOO ON MY FOREARM AND SAID "WHATS UP WITH THAT?
