My name is Jen. I just got a tatoo done by Shavon and Alex today it was absolutely gorgeous and they made me feel right at home. I would recommend this shop to all my friends and family also to anyone who is looking to recieve beautiful artwork in an down to earth atmosphere. :-)
This is such an awesome place with great people! It was so nice to have people actually care about what you want and to take your idea and make it unique. Shavon made me feel so comfortable like she had known me for years. She made sure that my tattoo reflected my personality. I was confident in her work and her creativity and knew that once it was finished it would be a true work of art. I love this place and these people!
I TOOK MY WIFE TO GET HER FRIST TATTOO AND SHE WANT TO GET SOMETHING DIFFERENT. WHEN WE STEPPED INTO THE PURPLE LOTUS IT WAS LIKE NO OTHER TATTOO SHOP. IT WAS LIKE STEPPING INTO SHAVONS HOME. THEY TREATED US SO GOOD THAT IT WAS JUST GREAT. ALEX YOU ROCK DUDE. I HAVE THREE TATTOOS AND ALEX WAS BY FAR THE BEST. I WILL ALWAYS GO BACK TO THE PURPLE LOTUS TO GET ANOTHER ONE . Although we are now clear across the country. Kat and I are both proud to tell everyone that the east coast ink of Shavon and Alex tops the west coast inkslingers any day of the week. Shavon, Rick and Alex are our family now! As a highly tattoed person, I will definitely be looking for more space so that Alex and Shavon can practice their perfected craft on me! When I first walked in I had a custom tattoo all thought up in my head. I told Alex what I wanted and in about a hour I came back and he had my design done better than I could image. Right then he started on it and didn't stop till he had just about every detail I can image done on it. My tattoo now looks amazing. I have been in many tattoo parlors with my husband and almost got the nerve to get one done but never did. Amazing, amazing, amazing. I had Alex do a tattoo for me that several shops between here and Savannah said would be difficult and complicated. No one seemed to want to do it. Alex took one look at it and said that it would be a pleasure. And it was truly a pleasure. I was treated so well from the moment I walked in to the moment that tattoo was over. Exceptional Work.....My tatoo was a project and Shavon took the project on and I am so happy with the result. Shavon is a true artist and as a customer you need to trust her with your design. I guarantee you will be pleased and she doesn't force you to get a tatoo like other places. Overall: I'm already looking forward to my next one. I have two small "chop shop" tattoos and thought those were special until I saw Shavon's work! She has quite an "eye" for what her clients want. She drew up three sketches for me. After I decided on one, we tweaked it a little more and TADA! My Shavon original! Atmosphere in the shop it very laid back. I never felt rushed or like I was just another job.
